With the support via email and phone on the initiative to appreciate, recognize and honor someone for his/her uncountable contribution to our community, Phillip Lim is selected for the most active community volunteer. There have been several people who always devoted their times and efforts to help community, but Phillip Lim is the most exceptional one who has helped our community in every group: from Social to Religious, from Religious to Political, and from Political to any community's issues.  The recognition's party is hosted and organized by the Silicon Valley Cambodian Group with the support of:• Bunkan Kas - Community's member • Channary Bill - Rep. of Cambodian Women's Association • Layso Lor - Rep. of Cambodian community of San Jose • Leslie Kim & Savary Dean - Coordinators of San Jose Cambodian Dance Group • Paul Tun - Rep. of Silicon Valley Cambodian Group • Perom Uch - Principle of Cambodian School • Sophany Bay - President of SRP-San Jose • Vann Cheek - President of the San Jose Cambodian Buddhist Society, Inc. • CARA's members & Community's members Phillip Lim was not informed till Layso Lor arrived at the party to give the speech about this recognition and appreciation. Thanks to Cambodian Dance Group for performance, Silicon Valley Cambodian Group for expenditure of the party, Vearady Chea (sister Oulisany Chea) for preparing the food, and everyone for taking important time to support this recognition.
