The Community Khmer New Year 2008's Committee is made up of collaboration with the San Jose Cambodian Buddhist Society, the Santa Clara Cambodian Women Association, the Cambodian American Resource Agency and active community members.

The Cultural Performance is provided by Cambodian Dance Troupe of San Jose and Dance Group of Oakland.

Fashion Show is organized by Miss Kara Uy, Co-Chairperson

Social Dance performed by Seak Meas Band and popular Cambodian stars

Cultural Ceremony offered by the San Jose Cambodian Buddhist Society


Everyone is welcomed to join!

Every year the local Cambodian community comes together to plan and prepare for the annual Khmer New Year Celebration around mid April the following year.

   • you can dance for the cultural performance;
   • you can be creative;
   • you would like to join CKNY-08 Committee.

CKNY-08's Committee meet on Friday evening byweekly (6:30pm - 8:30pm)
